Experiences
Experiened quite a lot after leaving Chinatown. Got a BS in Medical Laboratory Technology and worked in a couple of hospital laboratories for 14 years. Did various kinds of blood analysis in very tight time lines with doctors on the phone and nurses on my back. Learned to organize and manage time well. Learned to listen and empathize.
Next, worked in a biotech company where all blood analysis were done according to Good Manufacturing Practice. Therefore, learned to be meticulous in analyzing specimen and writing reports while crossing all the t's. Learned to cooperate, coordinate and communicate with large group of coworkers inside and outside of department.
All the while, doing day jobs, picked up a few hobbies. Love of photography turned to professional wedding photographer, Love of computers turned into part-time programmer with a San Francisco newspaper. Learned to appreciate artistic creation, work with diverse group of people and be tech savvy.
Continue learning for myself and my clients.
